it’s been four years since we first step in the royal and pontifical university. we didn’t even know each other then. all was new to our eyes. new school, new route, new faces, new teachers, new people. the millenium graduates are now ready to face the tertiary level. 

first year went through like a breeze. we learned that each of us existed. we knew the surroundings of our new school. we established the identities we lacked the first time we entered the university. after the general courses, the majors are still to come.

we all took the major qualifying examination. we are now classified by our majors. a stronger bond has been made. each group project, group work, and group activity brought us closer together. for every assignment equals a simple night out with friends. hardships shared by the pavilions in front of the building, canteen chairs and classroom walls. each activityhas its own joy and laughter.

second year then third year. we didn’t even notice that they went by. i just remember the time inside the guidance counselor’s office and the hanging out in the steak house at lacson. everythings so fast.

then i woke up inside the faculty room. the new people that i didn’t know before were mostly my friends. i woke up with the sound of laughter in the cool aired room. some where talking, the others laughing, some didn’t like what we were doing. and i see students calling the names of the people inside. this was the last of my days.
